Woo Wellness Pilates Go-To Kit
🧘♀️ These are the core pieces of equipment I regularly use and recommend in my Pilates classes.
🌱 You don’t need everything to start — many clients build their kit gradually. This selection gives you everything you need for comfortable, effective home practice and to follow along confidently in class.
💬 I’ll always offer alternatives where needed.
🔗 Resistance Band – Level 1 or Level 2 (2m)
Grey is the lightest option (Level 1).
Used for upper-body strength, posture and hip stability — a versatile essential we use regularly in class.
🧘 Pilates Mat
Extra cushioning for comfort and joint support during floor work and stretching.
🏋️ Hand Weights – 0.5kg or 1kg
Adds gentle strength without impact — perfect for controlled Pilates movements.
Align weights are slightly smaller and easier to hold.
🦶 Spikey Massage Balls or Foot Roller
Used for foot release, circulation and easing muscle tension — especially calves, glutes and feet.
💤 Head Cushion
Available in Pilates or Yoga style (Pilates is slightly narrower).
Supports the head and neck, and can also be used for balance work, ankle strength and proprioception.
🧱 Yoga Block
Helps with alignment, balance support and comfortable modifications.
⚪ Soft Pilates Ball
Adds feedback, support and challenge for core work, posture and pelvic stability.
💛 A Gentle Reminder
✨ You don’t need all of this to begin.
🌿 Start with what feels right — at a minimum, a mat and head cushion (or a small folded towel).
🤍 I’ll always guide you and offer options in class.
Woo Wellness Pilates - Luxury Extras for in Class
🟣 Spinefitter (Various Colours - inc new limited edition Pink)
A wonderfully supportive tool for spinal mobility, posture and deep release.
Used to gently mobilise the spine, open the chest, release tension through the back and support breathing. Excellent for posture work and nervous system calming.
🌿 Bamboo Tappers
Used for gentle tapping to stimulate circulation, wake up the tissues and support grounding.
A lovely sensory tool we often use at the start of class to help you arrive in your body.
🔵 Spikey Massage Ball set of 2 (Sissel)
Ideal for self-massage, circulation and releasing tight areas — especially feet, calves, glutes and shoulders. Also Great for Balance work under Glutes and spinal massage.
Pressure can be adjusted easily, making it suitable for all levels.
🔗 Rescue Loop
A small but powerful tool for foot, ankle, hip and core integration.
Particularly useful for Feet-ness work, glute activation and improving movement awareness.
🧱 Cork Wrist Wedges
Used to support alignment, in 4 point kneeling to help ease wrist pain.
Great for adapting exercises to suit your body and maintaining good form.
⚖️ Stability Cushion (Wobble) (with Pump)
Supports balance, ankle strength and proprioception.
Can also be used as a seated cushion or for gentle instability work to improve control and coordination.
🧎♀️ Knee Pads
Provide cushioning and comfort for kneeling positions, weight-bearing work and transitions to and from the floor.
Especially helpful for sensitive knees, arthritis, post-injury support or simply added comfort during class.
These items are optional additions.
You don’t need everything to practice — they’re here to support, adapt and enhance your experience if you’d like them.
Studio Equipment
Here is a selection of some of the equipment I use in the Woo Wellness studio & sometimes in the other venues. All of this is provided.
Zoom Equipment
This is what you may need for the Zoom Pilates Classes - don't worry if you don't have them though.
Many of our clients just use what they have to hand at home eg a book instead of a block, a belt instead of a band, some cans instead of weights.
HIP Zoom Equipment
All you will need to attend HIP online, is a non slip mat, some 0.5-1kg weights (I use the 0.5kg ones) and some water!

Face Yoga & Gua Sha Equipment
Although the equipment is provided in the class lessons, please try and bring your own serum and crystals into class wherever possible but you'll need some of the below for your Zoom classes. Face Yoga you won't need the crystals. Ideally 2 of the same crystal Beauty Restorers, 2 Precisions and some serum. 1 of each is ok too.
