Pilates for the Over 60s
A supportive, steady-paced Pilates class designed to help you move with strength, ease and confidence.
These classes focus on gentle strengthening, balance support, joint-friendly mobility and calm, mindful movement.
Everything is taught at a pace that feels comfortable and safe, with clear guidance to help you feel more at ease in your bod
Who is this class ideal for?
These sessions are particularly supportive if you:
Prefer a steady and comfortable pace
Want to improve posture, balance and joint alignment
Experience stiffness in the hips, back, knees or neck
Are recovering from injury or managing ongoing conditions
Want to stay strong, mobile and confident in everyday movement
You do not need to be flexible or experienced to join.
Modifications are offered throughout to support your body.

Wendy’s teaching approach
These classes are taught by Wendy Collings, Body Control Pilates Certified Teacher.
Her teaching style is:

Wendy gently integrates Feet-ness® foot-to-core strengthening, helping to improve balance, stability and ease from the ground up.
What to bring / wear
Comfortable clothing you can move in
Grip socks optional
If attending at the Woo Wellness Studio:
All mats & equipment provided — just bring yourself. 💛
If attending at Markwell Studio or Parsonage Hall:
Please bring a mat and small towel. (Optional: soft Pilates ball, band or spikey ball if you already own them. If not, Wendy will guide you on what’s useful over time.)
